Point Requirements
Each member of the National Honor Society must have 6 points each semester. Points are earned by doing service to the school, and one hour of service translates to one point. If you need suggestions for point opportunities, contact one of the officers or check the Opportunities page. Once you get 2 points for one specific activity, you can no longer get more points from that same activity until the next semester. Additionally, Monthly Teacher Breakfast donations will count as 1/2 of a point.
Service Requirements
Every National Honor Society member must complete a personal service project. This must amount to 6 hours total, and can be a combination of several different activities. Service to both your school and your community are acceptable for this section.
Chapter Projects
Every semester, one or more Chapter Projects will be planned by the NHS Officers. It is mandatory that you complete at LEAST one Chapter Project per semester.
